The JD Mitchell Kilted Golf Classic
Each year, the annual J.D. Mitchell Kilted Golf Classic Tournament honours the memory of John Donald Mitchell - Soldier, Architect, Businessman, Distinguished Canadian Citizen (1921 - 1999). Proceeds from the tournament support the J.D. Mitchell Fund -- particularly the J.D. Mitchell Resuscitation Room in the Emergency Department at the Dartmouth General Hospital.
We are indebted to Fred and Nancy Smithers and the staff at Secunda Marine for honouring the memory of J.D. Mitchell in such a positive way.
