Chadwick “Chad” Williams is a Gastroenterologist and Inflammatory Bowel Disease Specialist at the Dartmouth General Hospital in Dartmouth, NS.
Dr. Williams completed his Bachelor of Science and Medical degrees at Dalhousie University prior to leaving to complete Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology residency at the University of Calgary. Dr. Williams completed an Inflammatory Bowel Disease fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California.
He currently holds faculty appointments at Dalhousie University and Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a member of several organizations including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association.
Duane Sheppard, MD FRCPC MSc Clin Epid

Duane Sheppard is a Gastroenterologist at the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Dr. Sheppard completed his MSc in Clinical Epidemiology and his Medical degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in Newfoundland and his Gastroenterology training in Halifax.
Dr. Sheppard’s area of special interest is in advanced colonoscopic skills teaching.
He currently holds faculty appointments at Dalhousie University and is a member of several organizations including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association.
Jennifer Corbett, BScN RN
Jenny completed her Nursing Degree at Dalhousie University, graduating in 1999 when she immediately started her career at Dartmouth General Hospital working in medicine/surgery. She became a “part time” Charge Nurse in 2004, and transitioned to full time charge in 2012. She is committed to life-long learning and is always engaged in ensuring best practice on her unit.
Jenny is married with 3 children. Jenny was a single mom in nursing school when her eldest son, 26, was diagnosed with autism. She also has 2 girls, 11 & 8. She loves coaching her daughter’s softball team.
Jenny was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 15 years ago. We have to opportunity to learn about this chronic disease from Jenny as both a health professional caring for RA patients and as a person living with RA herself.
Robin Grant MD FRCPC
Robin grew up in Nova Scotia and spent much of her adult life in Ontario before returning to Nova Scotia in 2014.
Dr. Grant went to Queens University in Kingston for her Medical Degree and Family Medicine. Prior to this she completed a Masters in Health Administration and worked in hospital finance and planning in Ottawa.
Robin concentrates in Palliative and Emergency Medicine Physician, but has also worked as a hospitalist at Dartmouth General Hospital.
