The Foundation awarded this year's Dr. Wylie Verge Memorial Award to Angela McFadden.

"Angela's role as a Consult Nurse for Palliative Care is a vital one. Although her position is a tough job dealing with our hospital’s sickest, Angela brightens up the lives of palliative care patients and their families, and consistently has a smile on her face. Angela is an advocate for education and arranges for Dartmouth General staff to learn more about palliative care by helping provide training sessions and opportunities.

She is supportive of and involves herself in hospital initiatives and is creative when it comes to ideas about making the Dartmouth General a better place.
Angela is extremely caring to everyone she interacts with and is a role model to others in her patience and empathy towards others. We are so fortunate to have her and recognize that she has given much of herself to make our lives and the lives of our patients better!"

Congratulations Angela!
