Campaign Cabinet Announced for the Foundation’s Campaign to fund an MRI, Orthopedic Robot and Diversity and Inclusion Priorities for the Hospital


Dartmouth, NS: The Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation is proud to announce the Campaign Cabinet for their Lead On Capital Campaign. These exemplary community leaders have committed time and resources to raise funds to support priority equipment, technology, and programming aimed at reducing wait times for patients.


The Campaign Cabinet is chaired by Al MacPhee, a celebrated Dartmouth community business leader. Al’s infectious optimism, love of Dartmouth, and unwavering commitment to supporting healthcare make him the perfect candidate to lead this group of volunteers.


The DGH Foundation is also proud to announce Joseph and Violet Diab as Honorary Chairs of the Campaign. As well-known community Leaders and generous philanthropists, the Diab’s are natural partners to represent the Lead On campaign for Dartmouth General Hospital. This campaign is significant to Joseph and Violet as they have long wanted to bring an MRI to Dartmouth General and made the inaugural gift to support the purchase of the machine following the Province’s announcement that Dartmouth General would be the newest home of an MRI in HRM.
